All Vanguard Health Nursing Workforce staff are required to provide evidence of
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and FLU vaccination
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Qualifications (we require this in addition to your AHPRA registration number).
- If you don’t have evidence of your qualifications, you can contact the institution where you trained/studied to obtain a copy
- Current police check
Vanguard Health nurses must also complete the following mandatory education:
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Queensland Health
- COVID-19 vaccination modules—adult and paediatric
- Infection control
- Hand hygiene
- Vanguard Health policies and procedures
Vanguard Health medical officers must also complete the following mandatory training:
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Infection control
- Hand hygiene
- Vanguard Health policies and procedures
Other training, credentials and qualifications may be required depending on the role.
Yes, if you are required to work in a remote location, assistance with travel and accommodation will be included in your contract.
Yes, we will provide you with a uniform for your deployment.
Pay rates vary however all Vanguard Nursing Workforce staff are paid above award wages. You will be advised of the pay rate and other entitlements prior to any deployment.
No, you are not obliged to accept work that is offered to you.
Once you apply, you will have the flexibility to accept or decline
any work that is offered to you.
