Requirements & Training

To become a Midwife  with us, we need:

  • Your AHPRA registration
  • 100 points of ID & Visa (if relevant)
  • Statements of Service
  • A Current Police Check - within 12 months
  • Up to Date references

You'll also need the following mandatory training certificates:

  • FSEP
  • BLS & PALS
  • Hand Hygiene
  • Infection Prevention & Control
  • Medication Safety
  • Patient & Manual Handling

You need at least 12 months of full-time experience within Australia to successfully progress into any of our available roles.  

Please note: Vanguard does not provide assistance in acquiring sponsorship visas to work in Australia. If you require a sponsorship, your application will be unsuccessful.
