Terms and Conditions
- The $5K Christmas Shift Giveaway is a promotional competition conducted by Vanguard Health for eligible nursing candidates undertaking placements through Vanguard Health.
- The competition commences on 19 October 2026 and closes at midnight on 20 December 2026, with the prize draw taking place on Christmas Eve, 24 December 2026.
- Participants must be registered with Vanguard Health and have successfully completed all relevant onboarding and compliance requirements.
- Participants must hold appropriate professional registration, valid Australian working rights and meet all requirements of their placement.
- Eligible participants will receive one entry into the competition for each eight hour or longer shift worked during the promotional period.
- Only hours physically worked and recorded on approved Vanguard Health timesheets during the promotional period will count towards competition entries.
- Annual leave, personal leave, unpaid leave, cancelled shifts, on-call periods where no work is performed, and other non-working hours will not count towards competition entries.
- Entries will be calculated by Vanguard Health using approved timesheet records. No separate competition registration is required.
- There is no maximum number of entries per eligible participant. The more eligible hours worked, the more entries the participant will receive.
- The competition offers one cash prize of $5,000 AUD, awarded to one eligible participant.
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries on 24 December 2026.
- Each valid entry will have an equal chance of winning. The winner will be contacted directly by Vanguard Health using their registered contact details.
- The prize will be paid via electronic funds transfer to the winner's nominated Australian bank account, subject to verification of eligibility and any applicable legal or taxation requirements.
- The winner must respond to Vanguard Health within 7 days of notification to arrange payment of the prize.
- If the selected winner is ineligible or the prize remains unclaimed, Vanguard Health may conduct a redraw in accordance with applicable laws and the published competition rules.
- Any applicable tax implications arising from receipt of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
- Vanguard Health reserves the right to verify timesheets, working hours, placement records and participant eligibility before awarding the prize.
- Entries resulting from falsified, inaccurate or improperly submitted timesheets will be disqualified.
- By participating in the competition, eligible candidates agree to these Terms & Conditions.
