Terms and Conditions
- The RAN Education Subsidy is available to eligible Registered Nurses who successfully register with Vanguard Health.
- Participants must have successfully completed all Vanguard Health onboarding and compliance requirements, including the submission and verification of all mandatory documentation, before commencing an eligible Remote Area Nurse placement and becoming eligible for reimbursement.
- Eligibility for the subsidy is determined solely by Vanguard Health based on the candidate suitability for remote area nursing and realistic likelihood of them progressing into a remote area nurse role.
- Promotion period: Offer valid for applications received before 31 December 2026.
- The subsidy provides reimbursement of up to $1,000 (inc. GST) towards approved Remote Area Nursing education, training or certification courses.
- Courses must be approved by Vanguard Health before enrolment to qualify for reimbursement.
- Reimbursement is only payable upon successful completion of the approved course and submission of valid tax invoices and evidence of completion.
- To receive the subsidy, participants must successfully commence a Remote Area Nursing or RAN Pathway placement through Vanguard Health within 12 months of completing the approved training.
- Participants must complete a minimum of six weeks in an eligible contract before reimbursement is processed.
- The subsidy is limited to one payment per eligible nurse every 12 months.
- The subsidy cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another individual.
- Vanguard Health reserves the right to decline reimbursement where course requirements, eligibility criteria or placement obligations have not been met.
- Subsidies are subject to available funding and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice.
- Any tax implications arising from receipt of the subsidy are the responsibility of the participant.
- Participation in the program does not guarantee placement with Vanguard Health.
- If reimbursement is paid before placement, participants must repay the subsidy if they withdraw from employment before completing the minimum contract.
- Applicants must hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and valid Australian working rights to be eligible for this subsidy.
