Given the experienced nature of our workforce team and their ability to hire exceptionally qualified staff we have a low turnover of staff and high retention rates. Our employees understand the importance of addressing the social determinants of health and developing lasting relationships with local people and colleagues to address health issues in any communities.

Vanguard Health has successfully delivered workforce solutions to a number of Queensland Health Hospital and Health Services providing surge workforce and health professionals to work alongside current employees providing essential services in local communities.

In our role as a service provider for Queensland Health we have successfully recruited, credentialed and provided specialist registered nurses, midwives and staff specialists to the following health services:

• Mackay Hospital and Health Service
• Metro North Hospital and Health Service
• Metro South Hospital and Health Service
• Darling Downs and West Moreton Hospital and Health Service
• Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service
• Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, and
• Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Vanguard Health has existing supplier arrangements with Queensland Health including SOA HSQ78489 Locum Medical Officers and recruitment of Medical Officers until May 2023; Agreement under CSCSD1122215 Agreement for COVID-19 Clinical Contingent Workforce until February 2023 and a Type 4 Agreement with the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.

Vanguard Health is also the current preferred provider for surge workforce for the Northern Territory Primary Health Network and has been shortlisted to provide surge workforce for the Northern Territory Government.

Vanguard Health employs agile, experienced, willing staff, who are able to work in locations that change regularly based on the identified service need. We currently have experienced, willing and capable staff who are available for support the needs of your service.

We also have an established positive relationship with the Queensland Nurses and Midwife Union.
