Our Vanguard Health IRIS team have been fortunate to be working alongside Associate Professor Kris Rallah-Baker, Australia’s first Aboriginal Ophthalmologist and Shaun Tatipata from Deadly Vision Centre, Darwin, providing sight saving surgery.
Recently we were given the opportunity to participate in the groundbreaking NTIV documentary series Our Medicine. The series takes viewers behind the frontline of Australia’s medical services and shines a light on First Nations professionals, including our very own Kris, who are taking back control of Indigenous health.
The team completed 8 successful cataract surgeries.
