Shining a Light on Service: Vanguard Health's Rosie Recognised for Volunteer Work with Yalari
At Vanguard Health, we’re proud to celebrate the dedication, compassion and community spirit that our team members bring not only to their professional roles, but also to the world beyond our organisation. One shining example of this is Rosie, a valued member of our team, who has recently been recognised by Yalari for her outstanding contribution as a volunteer.
Yalari is a not-for-profit organisation that provides Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities across Australia with the opportunity to receive a high-quality secondary education at leading boarding schools. Volunteers like Rosie play a vital role in supporting Yalari scholars through mentorship, care, and encouragement. Two Vanguard Health employees, Daisy and Rosie, currently volunteer with Yalari to assist in supporting young scholars.
Rosie’s volunteer work was recently featured in Yalari’s Volunteer Spotlight. In the piece, Rosie shared her experiences supporting Yalari scholars during their time away from home, highlighting the warmth and connection she’s developed with students over the years. Her story reflects a deep commitment to uplifting young people and helping them thrive, academically and personally.
“It’s a joy to be even a small part of their journey,” Rosie shared. “Supporting these incredible young people as they chase their goals is both humbling and inspiring.”
