We are very pleased to announce that Helen Summers one our Optometrists working with us on the Indigenous and Remote Eye Service program was the recipient of a Medal of the Order of Australia for her to services to the Top End Community and optometry.
Helen is an integral part of our team and works with us on our Gove trips providing culturally safe care to our first nations patients. Helen also heads up her own Optometry clinic and contributes to community service as the Australia Day Council NT Director and Vice Chair since 2021 and 2022 respectively.
